The Ida B. Wells Society Investigative Fellowship is designed to help professional journalist sharpen their investigative skills through a rigorous 6-month program. Over the course of this training, journalists are expected to attend week long sessions once a month in Atlanta, GA. Selected journalists must commit to the entirety of the program.
Topics to be covered include:
- The process and development of investigative stories
- How to establish an investigative reporting mindset
- Writing for investigative stories
- Incorporating data journalism in stories
